Biography
Dr. Abby Humbles (Hulick, 1978) is a proud graduate of Dunlap High School. She holds a Master’s Degree in Administration from Bradley University and an Educational Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Illinois State University. For over 34 years, Dr. Humbles served as a teacher, principal, and school superintendent. She taught in the teacher preparation program at Illinois State University and administrative master’s program at Bradley University. Abby has held numerous leadership positions on various boards and associations, not limited to education.
Dr. Humbles and her husband, Bobby Humbles, have lived in the District for many years. They enjoy spending time with children and grandchildren. Their youngest child had the pleasure of attending Wilder-Waite and Dunlap Valley Middle School. The Humbles are tremendously thankful for the outstanding educational experience provided for their family by the dedicated staff at Dunlap School District.
