CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

• Please watch for work coming home daily. If you are not seeing work consistently, please contact me. Daily work that is not finished at school will be sent home to be completed and returned to school the next day. Please encourage your child to share his/her school day with you. Ask questions, look at daily work, discuss errors, and try to find ways to relate and expand on current areas of study. Please read with your child daily. Your child will respond to your interest with enthusiasm and a positive atttitude towards school. Thank you for your help and support.
• Each child will have a conduct chart that will be sent home with their report card. This is something that will show you and your child how their behavior has been. If there is a problem at school, such as excessive talking, pushing, not following directions, etc., your child will cross off a number. The number "4" is the highest number and would be crossed off first. There are several of each number. If your child crossed off all their "4's, I would send a note home for you to sign so you have an idea of their behavior at school. If they crossed out all of their "4's", they would move down to their "3's" etc. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about their behavior.
