HOMEWORK

Homework consists of the following:

1.Daily work that has not been completed in class.

2. Specific assignments given to be completed at home.

3. Time needed to study for tests.

4. Completion of monthly writing projects.

5. Reading for monthly book reports. (beginning in October or November)

Homework assignments are intended to reinforce concepts learned in class, to prepare for a test, or complete a project. The time needed to complete this work should not be excessive. Students are usually able to complete the majority of their daily classwork at school, leaving them little to take home. For the most part I check with students to be sure that I have not assigned too much for 1 evening.
