December Poem

The present you give to another

Need not be a costly thing.

If you tuck some love inside

Before you tie the string.

January Poem

Listen

Scrunch, scrunch, scrunch,

Crunch, crunch, crunch,

Frozen snow and brittle ice,

Make a winter sound that's nice,

Underneath my stamping feet,

And the cars along the street.

Scrunch, scrunch, scrunch,

Crunch, crunch, crunch.

February Poem

I spied my shadow slinking

Up behind me in the night.

Issued it a challenge,

and we started in to fight.

I wrestled with that shadow,

but it wasn't any fun.

I tried my very hardest,

All the same my shadow won!

March Poem

Will March come in like a lion?

Will March go out like a lamb?

Will March blow winds that are icy on little children's hands?

Will March look like winter?

Will March look like spring?

Will March tell me secrets the season will bring?

April Poem

Spring

Puddles on the sidewalk

Puddles on the street,

Colored umbrellas everywhere,

Boots on lots of feet,

Splashy, splashy, traffic,

Lots of muddy ground,

That's the fun of April

When reain is all around.
