About Our School
Ridgeview Elementary School is the newest K-5 building in the Dunlap Community Unit School District. Situated on a 13-acre site, Ridgeview offers students the same excellent educational opportunities that exist at Banner, Dunlap Grade and Wilder-Waite Schools. Ridgeview was built to accommodate the continued growth in the Dunlap/North Peoria area. The building is large enough to eventually house 450 students. Almost totally air-conditioned, Ridgeview offers twenty spacious classrooms, a Library/Computer Room, an Art Room, a Music Room, a Band Room, a Closed Circuit television system, a Gymnasium with a wood floor and a large Commons area. Our principal is Mrs. Ali Bond.
