If you really want to know, here is some information about me. I was born in Chicago and moved toAddison, IL, when I was 10 years old. I went to parochial elementary and high school. After high school I attended Eastern Illinois University and received my bachelor's degree in elementary education. I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction years later.While attending EIU, I met Karen, and we were married shortly after graduation. Together we have two daughters, Mary Ann and Laura.
My teaching experiences have allowed me to teach second grade for five years in south-central Illinois and at Dunlap I have taught P.E., fourth and fifth grade. I have been a basketball coach in some capacity for over 30 years, and I am currently the high school cross country coach.
I enjoy all kinds of sports, but love to run and swim. Playing the guitar and fishing are a couple of my other hobbies.
