About Me

I was born in Peoria and grew up in Brimfield. I graduated from Brimfield High School, Black Hawk East College, and Bradley University. I'm currently working on my Master's in Reading at Illinois State University. I will be graduating in May 2008.

My professional career started in 2000. I taught second grade at Wilder-Waite Elementary School in Dunlap for 7 years. I'm currently in my first year as a Reading Specialist for the Dunlap School District.

I married my husband Jeff in 2000. Jeff is a farmer and enjoys working outside. In 2006, our first son was born, Benjamin Scott. We also have Molly, our dog. In the summer of 2007 we moved to the country in the Brimfield area. I enjoy spending time outside, going for walks, playing with Ben and Molly, shopping, visiting family, and when the weather is right...sitting by the pool with my sisters!
