Kindergarten Expectations

Our goal is for your child to have a smooth entrance into Kindergarten. The following activities are those for which we would like your child to be able to do independently by the end of the year.

Your child should be able to...

--tie his/her own shoe laces

--zip, button, or snap own clothes

--recognize and print first and last name correctly

--follow 3-step directions

--state address and phone number

--recognize the sight words and color words

--add and subtract simple facts
