Classroom Rules
1. Follow School Rules in Handbook/Calendar
2. Be honest
3. Respect others and all property
4. Cooperate with others
5. Complete work neatly and on time
Consequences to Late Work and Behavior
A. Late Work
**1. Day 1--10 points off and "late" notice sent home
**2. Day 2--If assignment is not returned, student will complete at school.
A grade of 65 will be given.
B. Behavior--For most behavior problems, the following four steps will be used in the classroom:
**1. Verbal warning
**2. Yellow card (second warning)
**3. Red card (lose noon recess)
**4. Red card with an "X" (removal from room/ phone call home)
A severe behavior problem could warrant an immediate detention
Grading Scale:

Remediation
1. Daily work
** Individual instruction
** Small group instruction
** Correcting mistakes after instruction
2. Tests--If a child fails a test, the following remediation will be provided:
** Individual instruction
** Small group instruction
** Correcting mistakes after instruction
** Highest grade after remediation will be a 65
3. In the case of cheating, no remediation will be provided; a grade of zero will be given
