DMS Scholastic Bowl Team wins sectional competition at Lincoln!

Congratulations!

24 Gifted 6th Graders were invited to participate Saturday, February 16th in a Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) Day at ICC North. Students were involved in hands-on activities that included casting footprints, finding and taking fingerprints, and recreating “criminal” photos with the detective program, Faces.
The Electro Flys robotics team received 1st place at the North Peoria Lego League Regional Tournament! The group earned a 1st in Robot Perfermance, a 1st in Research Project and a 3rd in Robot Design. Congratulations on this great accomplishment.
DMS 8th grade girls advance to the state finals! Congratulations and good luck!
DMS & DHS Dunlap Pals had a great time decorating pumpkins for Halloween. The pumpkins are on display in the middle school library.
Mr. Montemayer's 7th grade social studies classes created models of early New England colonial settlements.
7th and 8th graders visited the Vietnam War traveling memorial on Oct. 11 at Shore Acres Park in Chillicothe.
