Biography Power Point Project

For the 3rd quarter literature project students are going to read a biography about a famous person of their choice. Then the students will highlight the major events of their famous person in a power point presentation and present them to the class. Each power point presentation should be grammatically correct along with correct spelling, punctuation, and capitalization. Students need to have at least six slides, although more may be added. Students will be graded on a basis of 60 points for each slide plus 10 points each for creativity and effort. The oral presentation will be worth 20 points for a total of 100 points. Books must be finished by February 1st. There will be worksheets that must be completed for each slide before going to the IRC. Two language arts classes will be given to create the slide show. Presentations will be given February 26th, 27th, and 28th.
