Mr. Black's and Mrs. Sollenberger's classes: In science, all 8th grade students had to build a toy with at least 4 simple machines and then apply Newton's 3 Laws of Motion to the toy. They had to demonstrate the toy in front of their class and explain how the 3 Laws of Motion applied. The project was completed at home in 5 weeks. Some of the toys were given awards for creativity and craftsmanship. These toys will be on display at the end of the main hallway during the month of January. Return to DMS Home Page
