Chandra X-ray Observatory

The Chandra X-ray Observatory is not just a boring satellite it is a work of art. You can find it at the NASA Satellite Museum. This work of art was launched into space in July 23, 1999 by NASA by the Columbia STS-93.  Part of its name (Chandra) means moon or luminous in  Sanskrit. Chandra is also one of four great observatories made by NASA. Chandra is known as AXAF.  The AXAF has discovered new black holes and stars in other galaxies. It has taken pictures of space clouds forming stars and black holes. It has found new galaxies and meteors. So do think it is a boring old satellite now.
