Meteor Crater is in Arizona near Winslow.  It is a meteorite impact crater.  It used to be known as Canyon Diablo Crater.  It is about 1,200 meters in diameter.  It is 170 meters deep.  The meteorite that made the crater was about 50 meters.  It hit at an 80 degree angle from the north, northeast.  Its official name is Canyon Diablo Meteorite. It is now a tourist attraction.
