Coach John Allison is in his first season leading the Dunlap Boys’ Tennis team. In high school, Coach Allison was a member of the 1994 East Peoria team that captured the Mid-Illini Conference Championship. In 1995, he won the Mid-Illini Conference Championship in doubles and was elected to the Mid-Illini All-Conference team. Coach Allison has been a teacher at Dunlap Middle and Dunlap Valley Middle Schools since 2000. He has also coached baseball and basketball at the middle school level. Coach Allison married his wife Laura in 2005 and they welcomed a son Daniel in 2007. Coach Pat Gornik is in his second season as assistant coach of the Dunlap Boys’ Tennis team. He just finished his first season as head coach of the Dunlap Girls’ Tennis team. Coach Gornik is in his first year teaching Biology at the Freshman and Sophomore level at Dunlap High School. He also coaches the Freshman Boys’ Basketball team. Coach Gornik is recent graduate of Bradley University and is eager to continue the success that the program has enjoyed at both the conference and state levels. |
