WORLD HISTORY COURSES

There are three courses in the World History series.  These courses can be taken in any sequence which the student wishes but it would be preferable if the students took World History I first followed by World History II and culminating with World History III.

738 WORLD HISTORY III

 

Length of Course:  One semester

Credit Granted:  One-half

Prerequisite:  None

Offered To:  Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors

 

World History III emphasizes the development of modern European nations, the Industrial Revolution, modern developments in the arts and sciences, imperialism, nationalism, causes of World War I, World War I, causes of World War II, Post World War II, development of Japan and China as Asian powers, and the rise of the United States and USSR as major superpowers.
