WORLD HISTORY COURSES
There are three courses in the World History series. These courses can be taken in any sequence which the student wishes but it would be preferable if the students took World History I first followed by World History II and culminating with World History III.
737 WORLD HISTORY II
Length of Course: One semester
Credit Granted: One-half
Prerequisite: None
Offered To: Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors
World History II focuses on a study from the Middle Ages (approximately 1000 AD) through approximately 1870 AD. Main points of interest would be the Renaissance, the Crusades, the Reformation, Growth of Western European states, the English Civil War and resulting new government philosophies, the French Revolution, the American Indians, the emergency of Western European nations as world leaders, and the development of Asian societies.
