421 ALGEBRA II

Length of Course:  One year

Credit Granted:  One-half per semester

Prerequisite:  Algebra I or Algebra I (H), Geometry or Geometry (H)

Offered To:  Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors

Algebra II deals with quadratic equations with one and two unknowns.  Other topics include logarithms, factoring, sequences and series, conic and natural application of problems.  It is recommended that only students who received a letter grade of “A” or “B” in Algebra II may take Trig/Pre-Cal (H).
