Length of Course:  May take only semester or both.  First semester does not have to be taken in order to take second semester

Credit Granted:  One-half per semester

Prerequisite:  Industrial Technology

Offered To:  Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors

Computer Repair-Hardware/Software is designed to foster an awareness of the computer repair industry, as well as tools and techniques that are used in computer repair.  Students will learn now to diagnose, repair, set up and configure the hardware that makes up the computer.  They will also learn to work with the software that makes it run as well.  Upon the successful completion of this course, students may wish to go further and take the national recognized A+ certification exam.
