375/76 WOODS TECHNOLOGY III & IV

 

Length of course:  May be taken for one or two semesters

Credit Granted:  One-half per semester

Prerequisite: Woods Technology I and II

Offered to:  Juniors or Seniors

 

Woods Technology III & IV are advanced classes in Woods Technology.  It is a course designed to allow the student to continue to expand their knowledge in wood technology.  Students will work independently to design, problem solve and build a project that will demonstrate the student’s knowledge of woods, joinery and finishing materials which are used in manufacturing and construction.  Students in this class will also learn how to perform basic maintenance and repairs to woodworking equipment.
