281 SPANISH III

Length of Course:  One year

Credit Granted:  One-half per semester

Prerequisite:  Spanish I and II

Offered To:  Juniors and Seniors (Sophomores with Counselor and Teacher approval)

Spanish III includes a review of the basic skills learned in the first two years.  The grammar is more advanced and the vocabulary is expanded.  Approximately 40% of the class time is devoted to reading and discussing Spanish literature.  The study of Spanish culture is more in-depth and practice to improve fluency is provided.
