262 FRENCH III – (PRE-AP)
Credit Granted: One-half per semester
Prerequisite: An “A” in French II (Pre-AP) and teacher approval
Offered to: Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors
French III (Pre-AP) begins with a short review of verb tenses and continues on the explanations of special and technical grammar cases. Classes are primarily conducted in French. Students read and discuss a variety of French literatures and much class time is spent discussing the ideas presented in the various works. Original writing is emphasized with students beginning to develop a writing style in French and an entire French work is read and studied.
