120 DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Digital Photography – This course will focus on the technical and photographic aspects of the digital image including the use of digital cameras, digital camera features, modes of operation, storage media, connecting and downloading images to the computer, enhancing images via editing software, printing, as well as new and immerging technology.  A solid background in standard photographic principles and darkroom techniques is expected.  Student should have a basic knowledge of basic camera techniques and technology learned in Photography I.  Digital photography issues and use of Adobe Photoshop CS as a photo imaging tool will be learned.  Access to a digital SLR camera for use in the class is desirable, but cameras will be available to borrow/share for this course.
