Parenting is designed to help students think through the responsibilities, satisfactions, and stresses of parenthood and development of children ages birth through adolescence. This course is designed for students who wish to have careers dealing with children as well as those who wish to be parents someday. Focus will be on children from birth to teenagers. Communication, math, science, social sciences, art, health, computers and related technologies are integrated throughout the course. Students organize and operate a nursery school at the end of the semester.
