Fashion Apparel and Design is useful for students who would like to pursue a career in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, or would like to learn to sew for their own needs and enjoyment.  The principles and elements of design in clothing are explored, use and care of textiles, selecting, constructing, altering, repairing, and remodeling clothing products are also covered.  Communication, math, science, social science, art, health, computers, and related technologies are integrated throughout the course.
