This is a very brief overview of the course.  U.S. History is a required Junior-level class that combines history, geography, economics, politics, and social issues. 

Materials: You will be responsible for:
                 - bringing your textbook everyday unless otherwise
                          notified
                 - a notebook
                 - a 1/2 inch binder with clear view for data
                          collecting/goals*
                 - a writing utensil everyday
                 - Optional- a flash drive
                 -  Occasionally you will need to bring colored pencils
                          or markers

*Data Collecting:
At the beginning of the semester each student will complete a personal goal sheet for U.S. history.  Following each assessment, students will reflect on his/her performance and set clear goals for the next assessment.  Data binder will also keep all old tests for review before the final exam.
