Meet Miss Hughes

My name is Shelley Hughes. This is my third year at Banner Elementary and my third year teaching! I absolutely love teaching third grade because the students and I are always learning something new each day.

 

In August of 2007, I moved from Rock Island, Illinois to Dunalp. It was a very exciting move for me and I am loving my new location!

 

In the Spring of 2006 I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.

 

In my free time I enjoy reading (especially Skippyjon Jones books by Judy Schachner), going shopping and spending time outdoors. In the winter you can find me supporting the University of Iowa Hawkeye basketball team.
