Hello, I am Mrs. Detering, and I will be your child's fourth grade teacher. This is my ninth year teaching at Banner and my eighth year teaching fourth grade. I am very proud to be part of the Banner faculty, and I am looking forward to a wonderful year.

Outside of school I am kept very busy by my family and school. I love to spend time with my husband, Jeff, and my children, Matthew and Alexis. Matthew is three-years-old and very active. Alexis was born in April 2007 and is doing something new everyday! I am also working to earn my Masters degree through Illinois State University.
