Hi! My name is Kelli Ballard. This is my seventh year of teaching, and my fifth year in Dunlap School District. I have taught Kindergarten, First, Second, Third, and Fourth Grade. Before coming to Dunlap, I taught at a charter school in Springfield, IL and in Springfield School District 186. I spent my first two years at Banner in the 3/4 Multiage Class, and the last 2 years in regular 4th Grade.

I graduated from Illinois State University in 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I graduated in May 2006 from ISU with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taken additional graduate level courses in the area of literacy, and now have a reading endorsement. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, playing card games, and spending time with my family and friends.

I am excited to teach 4th Grade this year! I look forward to helping my students extend their knowledge, become responsible and passionate learners, and most importantly have fun while doing it! I believe every child can learn, and with desire and interest, the possibilites are endless! I also enjoy and appreciate parent involvement at school.
