Hi! Thanks for visiting our classroom website!

For those of you that may not know, my name is Mr. Johnson. I graduated from Bradley University where I received my degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Psychology. While at Bradley, I was a Manager for the Men's Basketball team. After graduation I made the decision to stay here in Peoria to pursue teaching and coaching.

Now in my sixth year in the Dunlap District, I am so happy with my decision to stay here. I have taught 2nd Grade throughout my years at Ridgeview, while serving as the Assistant Varsity Boy's Basketball Coach at Dunlap High School. I really like working with and being apart of the fantastic Ridgeview and Dunlap High School Staff.

I love basketball! Basketball has taken me all over the U.S. I really like to travel and really enjoy the challenges that I face as a teacher and a coach! On a personal note, I am married to Megan Johnson, first grade teacher at RES and we have recently added a new addition to our family, a Maltese/Yorkie puppy named "Coach"!
