Dana Johnson
Born December 19th

I was born and raised in Lincoln City, Oregon which is located on the central Oregon coast. Lincoln City is is a tourist town known for it's rugged mountains and beautiful beaches.

As a child I attended Montesori from age 3-5, Delake Elementary for grades K-2, Oceanlake Elementary for grades 3-5, Taft Middle for grades 6-8, and Taft High School for grades 9-12.

I attended Knox College which is a private liberal arts college located in Galesburg ,Illinois from 2002-2006. After four years of study, I received my Bachelors degree from Knox College double-majoring in Studio Art and K-12 Education.

As an undergraduate I spent time teaching art at the Mary Davis Juvenile Detention Home, and I did my student teaching at Galesburg High School.

During my college years I was also an active member of IVCF, President and cofounder of the Knox College Swing Dancers, a part of the Knox College Jazz Ensemble studying under David Hoffman, and a member of the Mortar Board Honor Society.

In my free time I can be found hanging out with friends from
Chi Alpha, coaching swimming with the Dunlap Dolphins , swing dancing with friends, or listening to Jazz music.
