I was born and raised in Pekin, IL. I graduated from Illinois Central College in 1996 and  Eastern Illinois University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics.  This is my ninth year of teaching.

I began my teaching career at St. Paul's Lutheran School in Nokomis, IL where I had a 3rd , 4th , and 5th grade classroom.  I was also able to teach 8th grade algebra.  The following year, I married my husband, Chris, and moved to Mattoon, IL where I taught special education and 4th grade.  After 4 years in Mattoon, we moved back to Pekin, and I have been at Ridgeview since 2003.

Chris and I have two sons- Jack, who is 6, is in first grade, and 3 year-old Luke who keeps us very busy!
